In 2000, the Assyrian American Association of Southern California started Hee Veey TV in hopes of bringing the Assyrian community of Southern California closer to the goings on of their association.
In April 2004, Hee Veey TV joined up with the AAASC.com website to become the AAASC Media Group. Working together, this group has put into motion the first Assyrian unified media group for a shotapoota.
Today with hundreds of viewers in the Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley, the television is poised to continue growth by adding to the television channel lineup and programming, which will allow more access to Hee Veey TV.
Understandably, most Assyrians do not live in Southern California so in April 2004, Hee Veey TV is happy to announce the Hee Veey TV for the web. Beginning the week of April 11, 2004, Hee Veey TV will be available for viewing on AAASC.com website.

| A note |
| Recently our viewers may have experienced some technical issues with TV programming which in some cases have been interrupting the service in certain dates on Warner Cable system. Here is a letter from Warner Cable to AAASC TV Editor, Edwin Atniel regarding this issue: |
Dear Edwin:
I have forwarded this to our staff in Cypress. I purposely forwarded your e-mail to make sure that they have a hard copy of this problem straight from the source so that we diminish such incompetence moving forward.
Also I had created instructions to specifically run the same show as per your request only if they completely delete the last one from the system and re-encode it. I made sure two people were in charge of this so that one can monitor the other.
Also, we will be airing this particular show more than once that day in any available and decent time slot as bonus spots at no cost to you.
This is also a serious matter to me, Edwin. It's truly embarrassing, shameful and extremely unprofessional. This will not happen again. If there is a sliver of a chance that it does, there is no way the party responsible will be employed with us for too long. We are moving toward a more professional and well-run Leased Access and Paid Programming channel in all our Time Warner Cable zones. And we are currently taking all the steps to move towards this direction.
Please feel free to call me at anytime if you need anything. My office and cell phone number is shown below. Thank you Edwin for your patience. Mine has worn thin with this problem as well. It has been resolved.
Thank you,
Phebbie
